Neal’s practice focuses on commercial litigation, business torts, toxic torts, products liability, environmental litigation and financial institution litigation. Prior to starting a small law firm in Wake Forest, North Carolina, just outside Raleigh, he was a partner with the Hunton & Williams law firm, one of the country’s oldest and largest firms. Trained as a paratrooper and Ranger, Neal also served as an active Army and reserve JAG in airborne and special operations units. He has over 35 years experience representing corporations and individuals in the state and federal courts in North Carolina and across the country.
Neal has taught trial practice with the ABA/ABOTA National Trial Academy at the National Judicial College in Reno, Nevada, and at the National Trial Advocacy College at the University of Virginia Law School. He is admitted to practice in the North Carolina state courts, the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of North Carolina, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court.
